Your privacy, your choice.

Optional technologies help us improve our services and let our partner Leadpipe identify visitors (name, business email, phone, company) so our sales team can follow up. Choose whether to allow them.

Privacy at Ashfort Intelligence

Template — review before launch
This page describes how the software is designed to handle data. The operator of this deployment must adapt it into a legally reviewed privacy notice and data processing terms.

Your choices on this website

This website asks before using optional technologies. Necessary technologies — keeping the site secure, keeping you signed in and remembering your choice — are always active. Optional technologies (Ashfort Intelligence analytics about the pages you view, and visitor identification by our partner Leadpipe) run only if you allow them, and you can change your mind at any time.

Visitor identification on this website (Leadpipe)

If you allow optional technologies, this website loads a script from our partner Leadpipe. Leadpipe may recognize your browser and match it to a person in its own data, and send us your name, business email, phone number, company, job title, LinkedIn profile and the pages you viewed. We use this only so our sales team can follow up about Ashfort Intelligence. Leadpipe handles this data under its own privacy policy.

Nothing is loaded if you don't allow optional technologies, or if your browser sends Global Privacy Control. If you allowed it and change your mind, choose Change privacy preferences above; the page reloads without the script. To ask what we received about you or to have it deleted, contact privacy@ashfortintelligence.com.

You haven't made a choice yet, so optional technologies are off.

Your choice is saved in a small cookie on this device (ashfort_consent) for about six months, or until we change what we ask about. It isn't sent to or stored on our servers, so it applies to this browser only.

Who we are

Ashfort Intelligence is operated by [legal entity name], a Florida-based company that sells business-to-business services to U.S. businesses. Address: [registered address]. Privacy questions and requests: privacy@ashfortintelligence.com. (The legal entity name and address are placeholders the operator must complete.)

Two kinds of data

Account data — names, work emails and hashed passwords of people who use the dashboard, plus their organizations' settings. Ashfort Intelligence is the controller of this data.

Website activity — events collected by the pixel on customers' websites. Customers decide whether and how to collect it; Ashfort Intelligence processes it on their behalf and keeps each customer's data strictly separated.

What the pixel collects

  • Page paths (without query strings, with identifiers redacted), external referrers and UTM tags.
  • Random first-party browser and session identifiers — not cookies from Ashfort Intelligence' domain.
  • Device type, browser family and optional two-letter country.
  • Custom events the website chooses to send, filtered for personal and credential data.
  • Only if a customer enables it with a stated purpose: an age range and gender that a person chose to report to that customer, shown to the customer only in aggregate (minimum group sizes apply).
  • Business contact details (name, business email and phone, employer, job title) that a customer supplies from its own forms, accounts, CRM or team — each stored with its source.

IP addresses are used transiently to look up the organization behind a business network through a licensed provider (when the operator configures one) and are not stored. If a customer contracts a licensed identity-resolution provider and authorizes it for a stated use, the IP address, browser user agent and page address of visits to that customer's chosen websites are sent to that provider for matching; only business contact fields are kept from the answer.

What we don't do

  • Identify people from anonymous visits ourselves, or buy third-party personal profiles. Person-level matching happens only through a provider a customer has contracted and authorized — and, on this website only, through Leadpipe if you allow it (see above).
  • Infer characteristics such as age, gender, income, net worth, homeownership, marital or family status, health or beliefs.
  • Keep personal phone numbers or home addresses as lead data.
  • Treat acceptance of terms as consent to optional tracking or to marketing, or treat a website visit as permission to contact someone.
  • Read form fields, passwords, payment details or page content.
  • Sell data or share one customer's data with another.

Controls for customers and visitors

  • Consent-required and Google Consent Mode collection; Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are honored.
  • Configurable retention with automatic deletion.
  • Deletion by visitor ID, identified contact or company, recorded in an audit log.
  • Visitors can ask the website they visited to delete their data; that website can do so from its dashboard.
  • Customers can publish a per-website disclosure page listing what the pixel collects, why, which providers receive it, retention and choices.
  • Do-not-contact and marketing opt-outs are recorded per contact, never cleared automatically, and honored in CRM deliveries.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct or delete personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising. For website activity, contact the business whose website you visited; they control that data. For your Ashfort Intelligence account, contact us at the address above. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Sub-processors

Depending on configuration: the hosting and database provider, an email delivery provider (for account emails), a company-enrichment provider, a billing provider, and — only where a customer contracts one — that customer's identity-resolution provider and CRM. The operator should list the actual providers here.

Security

Passwords are hashed with scrypt, sessions are stored as hashes, integration secrets are encrypted at rest, and every tenant-owned record is authorized on the server. See the security model.
